Cuttin Corral since opening in '04 business has improved to the point where they do not have time even to promote their own business.
Cuttin Corral was one of the first to have advertising space on OurCreswell.com so it makes sense that they are so busy. Repeatedly OurCreswell.com asked to update the article first written on their opening only to have them thwarted ecause of business obligations. It's a great thing to have business so good it is difficult to promote. Perhaps it is as easy on exposure on OurCreswell.com. If you missed the original article here is an exerpt:
Creswell girls Tana Stoops and Shari Romane joined forces to create a kid-friendly salon offering services to fit the entire family.
Stoops and Romane are Oregon natives. Stoops graduated in 1984 from South Albany High School . She received salon training in Albany and began working at Cut Lose Salon.
After meeting her husband Todd, the couple relocated and she began working at Precision Cuts in Springfield . She worked there for a couple years before finding her true cliental in OurCreswell.
Stoops worked at All Season Salon for four years until her recent business venture of staring a salon of her own.
Stoops and husband Todd, have two children, Lexi, 10 and Trenton , 7.
Romane is not only a native to the state but she has lived in rural areas of the Eugene/Springfield are her entire life. She graduated from Pleasant Hill High School in 1986.
She attended the Springfield College of Beauty and graduated in 1988.
She is now engaged to Joe Kizer with no official wedding day set yet. They have three children Jessy, 13 and Duane, 14, and Megan, 15.
Romane has worked for many salons throughout her career including, Master Cuts, Third Dimensions and Hair Master.
She also worked as a free-lance stylist going into businesses and nursing homes to offer hair care needs.
She took a break from the beauty industry for a while following her hobby of woodworking and cabinetry. After deciding that she wanted to keep woodworking her hobby and not her profession, she returned to styling. She worked at All Seasons for one year, where she met Stoops.
Romane says she as always wanted to own her own salon, and this was her chance.
“This is a great opportunity,” she said.
To help build up cliental, she is doing a referral sign-up.
If a customer gets 10 people to come in, he or she earns $25 of services or products, excluding tanning.
The girls have made a commitment to creating a kid-friendly salon. There are books and toys in the waiting area and an entire room set up in back for children to views movies, play video games, read books and just be kids.
Stoops and Romane noticed in their careers that children who accompanied their parents to a day at the salon became bored.
“In my previous experience the kids didn't have anything to do,” Stoops said. “It is more relaxing for the parents if the kids have something to do. I want the kids to feel like this is a fun place to go.”
The Cuttin' Corral offers complete family hair care and barbering. Romane or Stoops can give you a cut, a perm or a color at your convenience.
The new business is located just down the block from Los Cabos at 134 West Oregon Avenue .
Cuttin Corral added tanning which produces a stream of clients adding a golden glow. A variety of tanning products are also available for purchase at the shop.
Be sure and tell them you saw this on OurCreswell.com and congratulate them on their successful business by frequenting their place of business.
